UPDATE --- I had the small area of rust repaired and the car is now completely rust free. New metal welded in and painted. Did the repair the "right" way and didn't cut any corners. Up for auction is my 1995 Buick Roadmaster. It's equipped with the rare V92 factory 7000 lb tow package, although this car has never had a hitch on it. This car represents the pinnacle of GM full size rear wheel drive platform development. This particular B-body is the result of continual refinement of the "downsized" chassis introduced in 1977 by Cadillac. It has a 2.93:1 limited slip differential, heavy duty cooling package and Gran Touring Suspension. This car is in excellent mechanical condition and could be driven anywhere. In my humble opinion there is not a better riding car on the planet. In all honesty, I've owned hundreds of vehicles in my lifetime and this is the best daily driver I ever had. The car is extremely comfortable and drives with ease. It's also very fast, corners like a champ and stops on a dime. It will outperform a Impala SS. And I averaged close to 22mpg doing 80+ driving it across country a few years ago. It breaks my heart to sell it but I must. The body and interior are in good condition with exceptions noted in the description below and the pictures. I hope to find an enthusiast who would take care of the body issues and enjoy it for many years to come. The LT1 4L60E G80 drivetrain with/without chassis would make an excellent platform for a hot rod, street rod or rat rod but I wouldn't want to know about it. Mechanical: I bought the car with about 82k on the clock. In the past 15000 miles, the following items have been replaced, serviced or upgraded; AC Delco Optispark unit, new Bosch water pump, Bosch spark plug wires and platinum plugs, belts and idler pulley, transmission fluid and filter, front brake rotors pads and wheel bearings, hard to find correct 235/70R15 whitewall tires (who would put blackwalls on a Buick!?!). I've replaced the air suspension with Caprice 9C1 police rear springs and Monroe severe service shocks all around. The original air shocks and springs are available and the compressor works, I just didn't care for the air ride. Stereo was upgraded to a Monsoon with CD player. Service records and owner's manual will come with the car. Body: When I bought the car a few years ago, the body was excellent. I did however spend a year living by the coast and now there are some rust issues that can be dealt with. There are rust bubbles along the top of the windshield and the windshield is cracked. There is some water getting in at this point. The rear window also has some bubbles near the top but it is not leaking at this time. There is a small rust spot on each side of the roof where the doors meet (pictured). There is some surface rust that is seen under the hood and under the car but no perforation. Aluminum wheels have surface corrosion. The roof, trunk and rear bumper paint shows some fading. There is a dent in the right rear door and a cracked wheel center cap because I accidentally backed my trailer into it the other day (ugh!). Interior is in very good condition, except the headliner, which needs to be replaced. The window regulators all need new plastic guides. I bought the parts on ebay to do it ($15) but now I can't find them. The driver's window will come off track if you lower it more than a couple of inches. The others all work, just a little slow because it need guides. The rear speakers don't work, horn doesn't work, electric trunk release inop, power antenna inop. Everything else works fine.Title: Clean, clear California title. I bought this car in California when I still had access to a friend's dealer tag to put on to drive, which I no longer have. The title was signed and dated 3/6/14 by the previous owner in the correct spots, everything else is open. If you are in Florida I can hand you the title as it is to do what you wish with it. If you want or need a bill of sale, it would be from my friend's dealership and I would be required to process your title. You would be responsible for tax tag and title fees which I would be required to collect. Anywhere else in the world you would have the option of 1. taking the title as it is to do what you wish with it, or 2. I would reassign the title to my friend's dealership, then to you and provide a bill of sale from the dealership. You would pay taxes and fees wherever you are titling the car.
